Raj Thackeray must be a very bad sleeper. Otherwise, why on earth, would he dream of perceived enemies all the time?

Yes, we can almost hear readers shouting that the hate-politics he specialises in is for votes, that cheap marker of popularity. We, after following his career for long, however, think that it is not the cause for his general propensity towards bhaiyya-bashing. It's because, as we said earlier, he is a bad sleeper.

It's as simple as that. See what he and his brothers-with-arms in the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) have done now: they have asked Jet Airways, which is headquartered in Bombay, that it should make in-flight announcements in Marathi besides showing movies and keeping newspapers in that language on flights operating from the city. The party has also asked the airline that the flight pursers and airhostesses should greet passengers in Marathi and has promised to write to other airlines.

This insistence on Marathi can create lot of hassles not only for the pilots and crew, but also for passengers. Now, tell us, why should passengers who come from all over India, be subjected to Marathi movies and newspapers? Or for that matter any regional language? We are all believers in that great 'unity in diversity' theory but when we are paying from our wallets, we want to hear, eat, read something we can decipher.
