I am almost ready with what I call the Feng Shui talisman for education. Interestingly, this doesn't have its origin in China. Or India, for that matter. The concept is from Egypt and my method of energizing is the same. And it has shown results. But before that one question I asked myself.
As a purist, can one add a talisman not belonging to orient to a system that has its roots in orient? I found the answer when I realized that Lillian Too has done it. She has suggested a cow sitting on a heap of coins as lucky for wealth sector. What is simply a cow for her - or perhaps holy cow - is Kamadhenu.
Kamadhenu, the sacred cow, is a part and parcel of Hindu mythology. She is the cow, which grants all wishes and desires. She is the cow of plenty, which emerged from the churning of the ocean and taken by seven gods, who compose the constellation of the Great Bear in the sky. Her cow has nothing in common with kamadhenu. I have started to paint the Kamadhenu sitting on gold nuggets and will introduce it soon.

Six months back I got ten talisman hand crafted. I gave six to students and four to employed professionals. This June revealed that all the six students were successful and also improved their grades. Their mark-sheets indicate the rise between 2 percent and 20 percent over the marks they had got the last year!
As for the employed professionals, only one has so far got the chance to see the results as she appeared for a departmental examination. She got her promotion. I am keeping the fingers crossed for the rest who have yet to appear in their departmental exams few months later.
More interesting was the case of Danny. He was selected for a very good job even before the results as some head hunters visited his college and signed him up based on his mid-term results!!!
