First Class Judicial Magistrate Sharat Chandran also extended the judicial remand of co-accused Anil Kumar and Vigil till the same date.

Meanwhile, the bail application of Sobha will come up for hearing in the high court on September 12.

Sobha has been described by the police as a key link in an alleged sex racket in Kochi. The Sabarimala priest was attacked in her house in Kochi on July 23.

Police are still on the look out for the key suspect Bachu Rahman, Sobha's business associate and a small-time television actor, who is alleged to have arranged the hirelings which attacked the 'tantri'.

The tantri was sacked by the Travancore Devaswom Board on July 24 after reports about his alleged involvement in a sex racket surfaced.
