Congress legislators J Krishnamurthi, N Subramaniam and Sridhar Babu should be disqualified as they were holding offices of profit by being members of the Tirupati-Tirumala Devasthanams, administering the Venkateswara temple, a TDP delegation, comprising General Secretary K Srihari and former Information Minister S Chandramohan Reddy said in a memorandum to the Governor.

Similary, Congress Legislators A Ramnarayan Reddy, President of VR College and High School Committee and A Vivekanand Reddy, Correspondent and Secretary VR College and High School, were running educational institutions with aid from University Grants Commission and the State Government and were liable for disqualification for allegedly holding offices of profit, the TDP leaders contended.

The TTD and aided educational institutions were not exempt from the purview of relevant laws, they said.
