Moinuddin, who teaches at the Ahmadi School for the Blind, was placed under suspension by AMU Vice Chancellor PK Abdul Azis who also instituted a two-member inquiry committee to probe the incident, a university release said in Aligarh on Wednesday.

The committee has been asked to submit its report to the vice chancellor within the next 24 hours, it said.
