Teachers training programme begins

A two-week training programme in manufacturing technology of agricultural implements for teachers of MP, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab states organised by Pt Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) and NCERT, Bhopal was inaugurated at Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE) at Bhopal on Monday.

A two-week training programme in manufacturing technology of agricultural implements for teachers of MP, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Punjab states organised by Pt Sunderlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE) and NCERT, Bhopal was inaugurated at Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE) at Bhopal on Monday.

The training programme aims to develop human resource in the field of agricultural machinery manufacturing. Inaugurating the programme, director, CIAE, Dr M M Pandey, stressed the importance of quality and manufacturing in agricultural implements.

If machine is not perfect, all inputs like seed, fertilizers and pesticides will be wasted. PSSCIVE (Bhopal) joint director R G Chouksey, in his presidential address, dwelt on new changes likely to take place in the field of vocational education.

CIAE technology transfer division head H S Viswas briefed the participants about the training programme and important activities to be carried out during the training programme.

The programme is coordinated by reader, engineering & technology division of PSS CIVE, Bhopal, Saurabh Prakash.
