Talking to UNI, Mr Shah said he spoke to the Team Manager about the bomb blast that rocked Colombo, a couple of kilometres from the Taj Samudra Hotel where the team was staying.

"The players are safe and the Security has been beefed up. The team management also contacted the Indian High Commission. All are safe in their hotel and there is nothing to worry".

Asked whether the BCCI would consider pulling out the team from the tri-series, in which South Africa is the third team, Mr Niranjan Shah said "No".
