According to reports, none of the passengers were injured, but they were stressed.

VK Yadav, the in-charge of Nagpur airport, said that a technical problem in the engine forced the pilot to make an emergency landing at the airport at around 10.15 am.
"All the passengers deplaned safely and were taken to Mumbai by another flight on Sunday afternoon," informed Yadav.

A technical team has also come here from Mumbai to repair the engine. "The repair team is checking each and every part of the aircraft, particularly the engine," he said. "I hope the flight would be able to take off by Sunday late night or Monday morning."

Nagpur India Against Corruption coordinator Ajay Sanghi, who talked to Bedi over phone, informed that the former IPS officer praised the pilot for safe landing at Nagpur.

The former IPS officer had gone to Jamshedpur for a talk show and was heading for Mumbai to participate in the on-going world economic forum meet.
