Telelogic presently has 220 employees in India, where its country operations are the third largest globally after those in the US and Britain, with the Bangalore lab, its largest, employing 100 engineers.

"There will be a further expansion of Bangalore product development lab by 50 per cent," Telelogic Chief Executive Officer Anders Lidbeck told reporters in Bangalore.

Telelogic had opened regional offices in Pune and Delhi and two more were planned in Hyderabad and Chennai, he said.

"We have established a strong customer base here that spans multiple verticals like mil-aero, telecom, finance and automotive," Lidbeck said.

Engineers at Bangalore lab develop and test latest Telelogic products along with the company's other product development labs based in the US, Britain and Sweden.

Telelogic, which began its India operations with a team of three in 2000, had a 33 per cent compounded annual growth rate between 2001-2005, he said.
