Telgi's judicial custody extended till July 31

Telgi and the other accused were produced before the special court of MCOCA following the expiry of their judicial custody.

The prime accused in the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam Abdul Karim Telgi and other accused were produced before the special court on Saturday, which extended their judicial custody till July 31.

The accused were produced before the special court of Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) following the expiry of their judicial custody.

They were brought to the court accompanied by officials of CBI amid tight security.

Former police commissioner RS Sharma and ex-Inspector General of Police Sridhar Vagal, who are also accused in the scam were, however, not brought to the court.
