Term end examinations of IGNOU to start from June 2

The term end examinations India Gandhi National Open University will commence from June 2 and will end on June 28.

The university has established 830 examination centres, including 41 overseas centres and 71 centres for jail inmates. Hall ticket (examination intimation slips) have been issued to more than 4.5 lakh students. The hall ticket is also available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.

Under Jammu region, 32 examination centres have been established, including three examination centres in jails for inmates.

The examination centres have been instructed to allow students to appear in examination, even if they do not possess the hall ticket, but their names exist in the list of examinees for that centre.

Separate hall tickets shall be issued to the students of BCA and MCA for term-end practicals.

Students are advised to contact the respective regional centres in the last week of June for their practical examinations. Practical examinations for BLISc (library science) will be conducted in only one examination centre (code: 1232), Jammu Government MAM College. Students are advised to contact the centre superintendent and see the notice board for practical examination centres.
