He urged the chief minister to “fulfill the desire of former CM Prem Kumar Dhumal” and order an inquiry. If the land allotment to the HPCA was found to have been made by floating the rules, the land should be surrendered to the state government and the guilty punished, the 20-point committee chairman said.

The former forest minister claimed that a big scam had been played out in the state cricket association led by former chief minister Dhumal and his MP son Anurag.

He alleged that the HPCA was registered both under the societies act as well the company laws. Thakur maintained that as per the law, no company could be allotted government land on cheap rates while a society could be. “I have all the information under the RTI Act on the matter which is pending with the registrar of the cooperative societies,” the Congress leader claimed.

The Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) was trying to mislead the public on corruption just for gaining political mileage in the coming Parliamentary election, he told media persons.
