Brought out by an NGO HOPE, the initiative for healthy living, the booklet doesn’t burden the child as does curriculum. It just helps to score more.
Students of at least 12 institutes are already benefiting from the booklet. Right from brushing of teeth, healthy eating habits to smoking and alcohol hazards all have been explained in details.

It also carries a relevant survey done at schools. Tips on a healthy living take a lot of text in the booklet.

The HOPE initiative was conceptualised when a team visited the Kendriya Vidyalaya branch on the SGPGI campus with its health promotion programmes for the students. The tremendous response received from this school gave birth to the idea of promoting health awareness in schools throughout the city.

The organisation has been making efforts by conducting various educational programmes in many schools and colleges. Some of the institutes touched so far are La Martiniere College, Isabella Thoburn College, Kendriya Vidhyalaya SGPGI, St Paul’s College, Colvin Taluqdar College, Delhi Public School and Study Hall College.
Till now 12 schools and colleges have HOPE.
