The choice is yours

I love the slogan, 'Love what you do, do what you love'. This is the key to happiness. We all end up doing something that we do not like. This makes us frustrated and the work we are doing does not get the desired result as we do not do it from the heart.

On introspection, we have a standard explanation to our selves: I do not have a choice. But, be aware, we always have a choice, and that choice is entirely ours, free from any outside forces but based on our priorities. We agree to stay in a rotten job because we feel we do not have a choice, whereas we can walk out any day but we have financial considerations and social considerations. We think about life of our family and wonder how much time it will take to get a new job. Hence priority of our family and finance effects our choice and we choose to stay in the job. The choice is ours.

But living in this world these are real considerations and we cannot overlook them.

If you can find a task that is of the head and task of heart too, then you will love what you do and you are doing what you love. So that is certainly going to bring out the best results.

Always remember, there is a choice and you have chosen your life to be what it is. If there is anyone to whom you can complain, it is yourself!
