The reality of dreams
I have a dream and I will hold on to it. One day, maybe sooner than later, it comes true. And I suppose, like me, you too have been trying to fulfill your dreams over the years. PP Wangchuk writes.
I have a dream and I will hold on to it. One day, maybe sooner than later, it comes true. And I suppose, like me, you too have been trying to fulfill your dreams over the years. The very belief and hope that you would realise your dreams, one day, are great motivating factors; and one keeps up on the go with determination and zest for a life yet to be revealed.
Auriela McCarthy, in her book, The Power of the Possible, says dream you must, and think about it. Just allow yourself to play with the idea.
All kinds of realities can be dreamt into being through continuous and focused imagination. And things will fall in line to make your dream come true.
True, you can’t just dream, relax and do nothing. Once you turn your dream into an idea, then the power of the possible’ gets evoked and, as if by magic, one is driven from one stage to another, with each new step taking you closer to your post.
Indeed one has to be stubborn to seize an opportunity and don’t let chance to be missed because of your sheer laziness and lack of interest.
My experience has shown that we don’t seize most of the good opportunities in life and keep on regretting later on. Just imagine, but for those missed chances due to your negligence, you would have been far ahead today in life.
As, to use a necessary cliché, nothing succeeds like success. And getting success becomes a habit after sometime.
Your mind is very powerful but is a highly subservient servant. All it needs is a cue, a signal for the ‘go ahead’. You will see you are put on auto-pilot mode. You may not realise but this auto-pilot keeps you on the right track, inching ahead closer to your goal post.
