Raje, too, initially ran her office similarly, with a guard stationed outside, calling visitors with announcements of “… (so and so) haazir ho …”

By a coincidence, for her residence in Jaipur, she happened to take a bungalow off Queen’s Road. Her press conference on Monday was held at a hotel named Maharani Palace. The hall in which it was held was named Darbar.
