"Rajbir Singh Bajwa, a resident of Umarpura locality here, was wanted by police in connection with the killing of Gurinder Singh and was nabbed when he came to his house early this morning around 2 AM," SSP, Batala, Gurkirpal Singh said.

He said the main accused Rajbir Singh, a BJP councilor, and his bodyguard were arrested on Sunday and remanded to police custody till September 17 by the senior Judicial Magistrate.
