"The alliance made to enjoy power would never succeed," Surjewala said while talking to media after laying the foundation stone of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nirman Bhawan at Kaithal in Haryana on Saturday.

He also inaugurated Drain Bridge on Jagdishpura approach road.

He said 1960 to 2004 period was an example of the fact that the third front had never succeeded.

Replying to media queries, Surjewala said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should first decide as to who would wear the crown.

"At present, the BJP party is in a dilemma as to whom they should present the crown," he said and added that the party which could not respect its seniors and did not know their
culture and traditions had no right to do politics.
