Thirteen people were killed and 28 others injured in two separate road accidents in parts of Rajasthan on Tuesday, police said.

Seven passengers were killed and 13 others wounded in a head-on-collision between two buses on the NH-15 near Mayawali village, they said.

The injured were rushed to a government hospital at Sriganganagar, they said, adding that the dead bodies were shifted to the district mortuary.
In another incident, six people were killed when a truck ran over them on the Jaipur-Chomu highway in the wee hours on Tuesday, police said.
The speeding truck after crushing to death a couple, hit some pedestrians, killing four of them and injuring fifteen others.
The injured have been admitted to the Sawai Man Singh Hospital, they said.
