Savouring the taste of success hasn't cost him dear. Except of course, his image on silver screen keeps at bay those who want to be on the safer side.

Ehsaan Khan, the overpowering villain is quite at ease with his on-screen image.
He is in town to participate in the shooting of a movie 'Doshi'. "Continuous acting in the plays of Shakespeare infused in me the knack to handle negative roles in a much easier way.
As we know, his plays always exposed the negative characters more strongly," he said.
Getting into the finer details of acting has always been his mantra for success.
He received much acclamations for his roles in 'Dev' and 'Apharan'.
Originally belonging to Varanasi, Ehsaan joined National School of Drama in 1993 and thereafter joined NSD repertory. In the year 1998, the glamour of tinsel town could not hold him back to try his acting skills in movies and he received his first break in the film 'Gadar', quite an irresistible offer for any new entrant in Bollywood.
"Acting opposite Amrish Puri as his younger brother was the most breath-taking moment for me. 'Gadar' offered me a chance to show my talent against the already established actors of Bollywood", he said.

And the recent Bollywood hit 'Apharan' in which he played the role of DCP Shukla definitely placed him among category of the sought after villains of film industry.
"Acknowledging the villain as the character to whom the hero serves right in the last scene is actually underweighing the significance of the entire character.
The actors playing villains have the chance to expose their talent in a much wider frame", he said.
Ehsaan considers Amrish Puri, Anupam Kher and Nana Patekar as those who inspired him.
Ask about the reaction of fair sex towards him and he laughs it off.
"They are afraid of even talking to me at times although I am just an ordinary person. Perhaps my on-screen image is responsible for this reaction and I could take it as a complement for all the hard work I have put in so far which has made me a popular face", he added.
Ehsaan was all praise for Allahabad. "The city has good locations for shooting and it should be developed as Ramoji Film City", he added.
With so many actors trying their hands in Bhojpuri movies, he showed no such interest in near future. Of course, he is open to the offer of working in television serials if any meaningful role comes his way.
The forthcoming movies of this actor are 'Manoranjan' and 'I am in love'.
