Dr Mukul Sinha represents the 2002 riot victims before the Nanavati Shah Commission probing the Godhra train inferno and the riots afterwards.

The letter warns Dr Sinha of dire consequences for his 'instigations'. The letter says that Sinha's status as lawyer would be of no use as the police and judges are "ours", a refrain often invoked by the Sangh Parivar activists here.

Sinha has submitted photocopies of the letter to the Commission which has taken up the matter with the police. Dr Sinha said the letter may not be a mere prank as the writer knows the cases he deals with. The letter concludes: "After Godhra, Zahira, Shorabuddin, it is now the turn of Mukul and Teesta (Setalvad)".
