Three children were killed and two others injured in a cylinder blast in Moharganj locality in neighbouring Chandauli district, police said on Friday.
The blast took place late on Thursday evening due to leakage of gas from the cylinder in a tea shop, police said adding a girl, identified as Lata, was killed on the spot while two others, Ajit and Kanchan, succumbed to injuries in the district hospital during treatment.

The condition of the injured was stated to be critical, they said.
