The deceased had been admitted for emergency treatment at the hospital. In another incident 8-year old Akash Mangilal fell into a water tank while playing outside his house late in the evening.

The 8-ft deep tank was located near the gate of his residence and normally is covered with a metal lid. The lid had been blown away in the strong gales accompanied by rains.

The boy who was playing on the fringe fell in after slipping and could not be located by the parents who later covered the tank.

The parents lodged a missing person report on Monday morning and with the first suspicion going on the tank it was uncovered by the police where the body was found.

The number of the vehicle could not be noted. The Bhanwarkuan police have registered a case of negligent driving causing death against an unidentified vehicle.
