Two eunuchs allegedly tried to burn three of their team members at Kachwa village, near here in the wee hours of Thursday.
The injured namely- Mannu Mahant, Koyal and Ranjeet were admitted at a private hospital.
The condition of three was very serious said Ram Kumar, station house officer of Sadar police station.
He said that as per the initial complaint, it was an attempt to burn them alive for unsaid reason and not an accident.
"Doctors attending them said that all suffered serious burns and they were being treated," said the SHO.
The preliminary investigations revealed that two eunuchs Rizwan and Taslim had returned here from Ghaziabad and left Mannu Mahant's place late in the night under mysterious circumstances.
Both Rizwan and Taslim used to play 'dholak' in the team of eunuchs led by Mannu Mahant.
"It is alleged that the Rizwan and Taslim locked Mannu's room from outside and fled away. Another eunuch Sapna took note of the crime and informed the police," SHO said.
He said that the police was searching for both who left the house in the night and their questioning may give further lead.
