Police on Wednesday arrested two men for allegedly raping a minor girl in Reasi district.

Police on Wednesday arrested two men for allegedly raping a minor girl in Reasi district.

Police said the girl's father complained that on May 9 a woman, who belongs to the same village, lured his daughter into the forest, where the two men, waiting, allegedly forced themselves on her.

The woman has also been arrested.Reasi superintendent of police, Sujit Kumar said the accused had fled the area after committing the crime.

Initially the girl on reaching home didn't say anything for two days, police said, quoting the father.

But on May 11, she narrated the incident to her parents, who then lodged a complaint with us (Reasi police station), they added.
