Three security personnel, including two police officer, were seriously injured in a landmine blast in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district on Friday, police said.

The blast took place near Gorkha under Bhejji police station in the district, they said, adding that the policemen were on election duty and accompanying poll personnel to the polling booths in Bhejji.

Polling for the first phase of election began in 39 assembly constituencies in Chhattisgarh today.
