Three top executives of Jet Airways have put in their papers which the airline said was due to career prospects and family commitments.
The executives are Col (Retd) A S Bedi (General Manager, Security), N Hariharan (Vice-President-Chairman's Office) and S Bandula (Senior General Manager (in-flight service), the company said in a press release on Wednesday.
The airline described their quitting as `no sudden exodus' and that it was common phenomena in any business enterpise and in the wake of the growing aviation industry.
The company's clarifiction came in the wake of a report that its Executive Director, Saroj Datta and five other top executives had resigned. The report had mentioned two other executives as B Krishnan (Senior General Manager-Finance) and Poh Leong Choo (Senior Vice-President, Services).
The release did not make it clear if Datta and the two other executives had quit but only said that there had been no sudden exodus amongst its top echelons as mentioned in the report and confirmed the names of the three who have quit.
"Yes, I have put in my papers," Hariharan told PTI in Mumbai on Wednesday ,adding that he was leaving to take up the post of Director, Corporate Communications, at the Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL).
