Three killed as truck runs over people lined up for LPG

Three persons were today killed and six others injured when a speeding mini-truck ran over a group of people who had lined up for booking LPG gas cylinders on the national highway here.

The vehicle hit the people belonging to Kamlapur area, police said.

While one person died on the spot, the other two succumbed to injuries while they were being rushed to a hospital, police said, adding the injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
