Three killed in Mumbai accident

A speeding vehicle mowed down seven people, killing three in Mumbai on Sunday morning, the police said.

The accident took place on the Link Road in Borivli surburb in northwest Mumbai at 8.45 a.m.

According to the police, the Gujarat registered vehicle lost control and climbed on to the road divider where the victims were waiting to cross the road.

The injured have been rushed to Bhagwati Hospital.
