Three persons were killed on Friday when a portion of an abandoned open cast coal mine of CCL caved in following downpour in Hazaribagh-Giddi coal belt.
The Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Ramgarh, Sanjiv Kumar, said a rescue team went to the incident site and pulled out the bodies, which had been sent for post-mortem.
