District forest officer, Sehore, Keshav Singh confirmed to HT that the movement of tigress, her three cubs and a male tiger had been reported in the district for last two days.

"Our team is monitoring the situation and looking for the tigers or their pug marks so that we can keep track of their movements and ensure their safety from the poachers," he said.

Conservator forests, Bhopal, M Krishnamurti said the tigers from Ratapani Sanctuary in Raisen district have been routinely moving into the Bhopal and Sehore districts for last two to three years.

"As tigers are moving through three districts, the wildlife officials in these districts are constantly coordinating with each other for tracking the movement and ensuring the safety of big cats," he said.
