Another week, another Thursday…and here I am. This tang karne waali agency (read HT) is getting the better of me, and it's quite a chore to think of what to discuss each week. Moreover, post the Swine flu scare, schools in Mumbai have been closed and so Aarav is back with me in London after barely attending classes for four days.
Which means its back to long walks (actually running stints!) in the Hyde Park and cycling in all its weird, but super interesting forms. I tell you, there’s nothing more refreshing in this world than having fun with your child. I’m my son’s hero, not because I happen to be a film star, but because he, with all his innocence, truly believes that his dad is the strongest and the best person in this world. And all kids feel the same way about their parents till a certain age. I advise everyone to enjoy this phase to the fullest — this unconditional adulation gives you a high like nothing else can. In any case, kids grow too fast in today’s age, so enjoy this time to the hilt while it lasts.
Coming back to my weekly stress, that of taking out time to write this weekly column. First, let me thank all those who have filled me with their feedback on my ‘Independence Day’ column last week (hundreds of mails actually). So many of you congratulated me for winning the friendly cricket match we played with our British crew members, that I was truly touched. But now I have to say something that some of you may not like.

{{/usCountry}}With shooting schedules for Housefull becoming hectic by the day, I’m finding it a bit difficult to cope up with this role of a weekly columnist. So with due permission from my fans who mean the world to me, I would like to take a break from this column for some time.
Next week, I’ll publish some of the best letters I’ve got in response to my columns so far. A thank you gesture to those who’ve been writing regularly to me since I started doing this. Each and every word that you wrote to me was full of love and encouragement. I cherish it.
