Tips for teaching mathematics

CBSE SAHODAYA Complex, in association with Oxford University Press, recently organised Mathematics workshop for primary teachers at Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, Bairagarh. Around 100 teachers from various CBSE affiliated schools attended the workshop.

In the workshop eminent resource person, Ms Ashalata Badami gave several tips to teachers on Maths teaching effective in the classroom.

She discussed the role of Maths teacher in the classroom and appealed to teachers to help students build confidence in problem solving, and remove Maths phobia from the mind of young learners.

She demonstrated how to teach difficult topics in easy way to students through a newly evolved technique of teaching called ELPS. During the course of workshop an interactive session inviting problems their solutions and suggestion was also held.

On this occasion Rev Sidh Bhauji, a staunch discipline of H H Santji honoured the resource person. Principals of CBSE affiliated schools were also present.
