"A letter with death threats, bearing the name of Osama Bin Laden, was sent in the name of Togadiyaji to the office. We have intimated police and they are investigating further", said a VHP office bearer.

He said that the letter warned Togadia of dire consequences if he continued with his "anti-Muslim" agenda.

"The VHP has informed us of such a death threat to their leader. The matter is being investigated thoroughly", a senior police official said.

Togadia has received death threats in the past as well and is under Z-plus security cover.
