Under pressure from Noida Authority, the Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited rolled back the hike in DND Flyway toll rates on Monday. Rates had been hiked by 10 to 15 per cent from April 1. Election commission officials were reported monitoring the development closely to see if the election code of conduct was being violated.

NTBCL, Chief General Manager, Devendra Yadav, said, “Rates were hiked on April 1 following the review committee’s approval. A few days ago, Noida Authority wrote to NTBCL and asked us to roll back the hike. The decision was taken in a meeting of the Board of Directors on Monday.”
