Tom Cruise may have made peace with Brooke Shields, but it seems that he’s not yet ready to do the same with Oprah Winfrey, for he’s just given her the cold shoulder once again.
Cruise, who made headlines for all the wrong reasons with his infamous couch-jumping antics on the talk show queen’s show in May last year, snubbed Winfrey when he didn’t invite her to his Italian wedding.
Now, he’s done it again by not sending the talk show queen an invite to his post-honeymoon bash thrown by Paula Wagner, his UA producing partner, and agent Rick Nicita, reports the New York Daily News.
The post-wedding bash this weekend is in honour of the people close to them who were unable to jet off to Italy a few weeks ago to watch TomKat tie the knot.
The news was confirmed by Oprah’s rep.
Though at the time of the TomKat’s wedding Oprah had insisted that not being invited to the wedding was not a snub, and that the only reason she was not asked was because the couple could only invite a “limited number of people”.
“It's not that I'm not going. It's that they had a limited number of people that they could invite. I was not one of the invitees. That's fine. I don't get invited to everyone's wedding. I don't invite them to everything I do. But I wish them the best,” Winfrey had told TV show EXTRA.
