Sachin Tendulkar owns the highest all-time aggregate and the best-ever average at the Vidarbha Cricket Association ground in Nagpur, where he will return to the Indian team for the third Test against Australia on Tuesday.

In the four Tests that Tendulkar has played at the VCA ground, he has scored 625 runs in five innings with the help of three centuries and one half-century.

Tendulkar's highest at the venue was an unbeaten 201 in the first innings of the second Test against Zimbabwe in Nov 2000. He again sent the Zimbabweans on a leather hunt in 2002, cracking 176.

The Mumbai star also enjoys the best average at the VCA ground, a stupendous 156.25.

One prominent record that still eludes 31-year-old Tendulkar is the highest individual Test innings at the VCA ground.

While Tendulkar has raised tall scores at this compact venue, he is still looking for his first Test wicket, even after having bowled 18 overs.
