He was addressing the inaugural function of 11th Madhya Pradesh Police Shooting Competition at Reoti Range.

Stress the importance of undergoing training Kumar said, “An example is the Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab. He just studied upto Class eight and had just one year training. With this he could operate weapons and gadgets and GPS devices. He could do this because he had passion and he trained very well. He could operate technology well because he trained himself well.”

When contacted, Kumar said his words were being quoted out of context. “I never praised Kasab in my address. It was a motivational speech and my main thrust was that if a poorly educated man like Kasab can do this then why can’t we.”
