I do not agree with Gulam Noon’s article Battle for hearts and minds (July 12).

I do not agree with Gulam Noon’s article Battle for hearts and minds (July 12). The failed terrorist act at Glasgow was not planned by illiterate Muslims. It was planned by doctors and engineers, who ought to take a rational view of things. For too long we have taken a soft stance against such acts owing to a misplaced sense of secularism.
