Tourist guide tries to rape Japanese

The woman and her Japanese boyfriend were staying in Jungle Bubbler Resort, run by the Haryana Tourism on National Highway-8, where the guide attempted to rape her.

The Haryana Police are searching for a Nepalese tourist guide who tried to rape a Japanese woman and also took away $35, traveller cheques worth $60, two cameras, a cellular phone and a watch she and her boyfriend were carrying.

The woman and her Japanese boyfriend were staying in Jungle Bubbler Resort, run by the Haryana Tourism on National Highway-8, where the guide attempted to rape her.

The two tourists had hred the guide in Mumbai some days ago, from where they travelled to Varanasi to Delhi to Dharuhera in Haryana, checking into the tourist resort. The police said the guide probably tried to rape the woman when the couple was asleep after consuming liquor. The police identified the girl’s boyfriend as K Okubo of Nigata province in Japan.
