Train services have resumed after four hours of shutdown after commuters refused to allow trains to operate, demanding more up and down locals from Borivali and Churchgate.

Train services have resumed after four hours of shutdown after commuters refused to allow trains to operate, demanding more up and down locals from Borivali and Churchgate.

Services on the slow tracks were blocked after commuters refused to allow trains to operate, demanding more up and down locals from Borivali and Churchgate, railway police said.

Trains were disrupted from 0920 hours and people are still being cleared from the tracks, they said.

However, services on the fast line were unaffected.
