A Trinamool Congress candidate for Panchayat elections was killed by unidentified men on Wednesday, in South 24 Parganas district, police said.
Shibram Naskar was returning home after campaigning when he was attacked with sharp weapons in Baruipur by a gang of 2-3 men.

He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
