Tripathi hits out at UP Govt

STATE PRESIDENT of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Keshari Nath Tripathi said that the UP Government was appeasing a particular community. He made this remark at a conference organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha (BJPYM) at Fazilnagar town of Kushinagar district.

He condemned the alleged remark of a cabinet minister in the State Government that Vande Matram was against the spirit of a particular religion.
Continuing his offensive, Tripathi said that the religious leaders were promoting separatist forces and the terrorist activities in the State increased.

He said that the Student Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) is involved in various anti-national activities but Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was not imposing ban on it.

Criticising the Congress Party for promoting the appeasement policy, he said that in Andhra Pradesh, the Congress-led UPA government was giving reservation to Muslims on caste basis.

The Mulayam Singh Yadav-led government was misleading the youths in name of givin unemployment allowance. Tripathi said that there was no law and order in the State and Mulayam Singh government miserably failed in containing the criminals. Making a sharp attack on the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Tripathi said that the BSP had no ideology and was promoting caste politics in the State to capture the power.
