Housefull under controversy gets legal notice from Punit Mehra (son of Prakash Mehra) for using their production house song in the movie.

Punit Mehra, son of late filmmaker Prakash Mehra has sent a legal notice to Sajid Nadiadwala, T-Series and HMV for using hit song, Apni to jaise taise... song from Laawaris in their upcoming film Housefull. The lyrics of the original song were written by Prakash Mehra.

While Punit was unavailable for comment, Nadiadwala said, “We got the legal notice on Wednesday. We have a
contract with HMV and we would definitely have got in touch with them if we knew that the film’s rights were with Prakash Mehra Productions. I am embarrassed to be in this situation.”
