'Tsunami Court colony' inaugurated

Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice GS Singhvi on Sunday inaugurated a 'Tsunami Court colony' comprising 50 houses constructed near Battisanaiah Palem village in Prakasham district.

Speaking on the occasion, Singhvi exhorted the employees of the state Judiciary to contribute money for the construction of houses in tsunami ravaged villages in the coastal districts of the state.

He said 50 houses were constructed amounting to Rs 25 lakh, contributed by the Judiciary to the tsunami-hit villages.
