The body of the woman was recovered from Santosh Nagar Colony near Dadri Railway Station on Monday. A yellow stole was tied around her neck, the police said. The woman was wearing a black top and green denim pants.

“Her body has been sent for post-mortem examination. It appeared that she was killed somewhere else and then her body was dumped here. There were no bloodstains around her body. Whether she was raped before murder would be clear once post mortem report comes,” a police officer said. The victim was identified as Dolly, a resident of Aryapura Subzi Mandi in Delhi.

In another case, the body 28-year-old man was found near the canal in Jehangirpur, a few hundred metres from his home. His throat was slit.
