TWO NAGAR Seva buses collided head-on at the Rajkumar overbridge on Thursday afternoon critically injuring the two drivers. Six passengers, all women, were also injured the accident.
According to eyewitness, the accident occurred as both the bus drivers were trying to overtake other vehicles. The impact of the accident was so great that some of the passengers who were sitting near the windshield were thrown off
the vehicle onto the road.
As soon as the accident occurred, the passersby with great difficulty removed both the drivers from their seats. All the injured were bleeding and had to be hospitalised.
One bus (MP-09-F-2024) was coming from the Railway station and going towards Gandhi Nagar, while the other one (MP-09-F-9425) was coming from the opposite direction when the accident took place.
