Two children killed in landmine blast in Poonch

According to Poonch SSP, SDS Jamwal, a landmine went off in a dry stream in the village, while children were playing, reports Deepak Khajuria.

Two children were killed in a blast at village Jhulas near Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district, 245 km northwest of Jammu, on Sunday
evening.

According to Poonch SSP, SDS Jamwal, a landmine went off in a dry stream in the village, while children were playing at around 5:30 pm resulting in the death of two kids on the spot.

The deceased children have been identified as Munshi (12) son of Mohammad Bashir of Jhulas and Munna (10) son of Bittu of Bandi Chai.
He added that a police party from Poonch was immediately rushed to the spot.
