Two children were killed and a woman injured in Doda district by unidentified men, police sources said in Jammu.

Two children were killed and a woman injured in Doda district by unidentified men, police sources said in Jammu on Tuesday.

Sushma Devi and her three children had gone to the nearby Bunjwan forest area to collect firewood on Monday when two persons allegedly strangled her children—Renu, 5 and 15-month old Sonu to death.

The men attempted to kill Sushma in a similar fashion but she managed to escape along with her son Akshay Kumar.
