Two farmers allegedly committed suicide as a bank refused to sanction loans in Washim district of Maharashtra, police said.

Vithhal Namaji Shinde of village Jumda committed suicide by consuming poison on Wednesday, police said.

Another farmer Bhivaji Udebhan Bhagat of village Hanwatkheda took the extreme step by taking poison, police said.
